BAR Automotive, in partnership with Fixed Ops Docs®, is conducting a search on behalf of a well-established automotive dealership in Stanley, Wisconsin. We are seeking a proven Fixed Operations Director to lead both service and parts. This opportunity is for an operator who can develop people, establish accountability, improve the guest experience, and grow departmental performance. We are not looking for someone who manages exclusively from reports or an office. We need a leader who understands what is happening on the drive, in the shop, at the parts counter, and throughout every stage of the repair-order process. The right candidate will inherit real opportunity, leadership support, and access to outside coaching resources. WHAT YOU WILL LEAD
The complete service and parts operation Service advisors, technicians, parts employees, support staff, and department managers Recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and employee development Daily operational processes and accountability Guest communication and retention Technician productivity, efficiency, proficiency, and available capacity Labor and parts performance, gross profit, expense control, and departmental net profit Repair-order quality, inspections, estimates, declined work, and follow-up Warranty compliance and manufacturer requirements Inventory management, obsolescence, fill rate, and parts profitability Mobile service and fleet growth opportunities Collaboration between fixed operations, variable operations, accounting, and executive leadership
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proven automotive fixed operations leadership experience Strong working knowledge of both service and parts operations Documented ability to improve performance through people and process Ability to coach employees and hold every level of the operation accountable Strong understanding of dealership financial statements and fixed operations metrics Experience managing departmental performance, gross profit, expenses, and guest retention Recruiting and team-development experience Clear, direct, and professional communication Willingness to be visible, engaged, and involved in daily execution Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
