Production Superintendent

Job Description

Position Overview The Production Superintendent leads daily field operations, including production, well work, drilling, and maintenance activities. This role directs field personnel, coordinates communication between office and field teams, and ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while maintaining production goals and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities/Expectations Develop and implement cost-saving programs, systems, and practices while maintaining safety, environmental compliance, and productions performance Manage and direct the work of others involved in the production, maintenance, and drilling aspects of the business unit to ensure they are following regulations, safety and environmental rules and meeting operational targets Maintain consistent policies, practices, and accountability across all fields Collaborate with engineering and operations personnel to improve production, optimize facilities, and resolve operational issues and other personnel to improve production, facilities and solve problems Analyze production variances and facility issues and implement corrective actions Ensure good housekeeping is being practiced in all facilities including vehicles, equipment, office space, warehouses, and buildings Coordinate and assist with company regulatory and agency filings Overseeing field personnel in researching vendor selection at the company's production operations Manage budgets, review lease operating statement and make cost-effective decisions Travel regularly to field locations and respond to emergency situations as they arise Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments Report updates on operations regularly to upper management Attend all training provided by Granite Creek Experience and Skills Required Minimum 10 years of oilfield experience Supervising experience preferred Strong leadership skills Understand oil and gas production, processes, facility operations and mechanical principles Effective in time management, planning, scheduling and prioritizing multiple resources. Computer Skills required Communicate effectively verbally and in writing Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and industry-specific software
Pay:
$115,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
