Are you a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, processing orders, and providing exceptional service? We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a growing, team-oriented organization in Northbrook, IL. This position combines customer service, order management, and front desk responsibilities in a professional office environment. What You'll Do Serve as the first point of contact by answering incoming calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate department. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing order status updates and expediting requests when necessary. Maintain customer records, pricing information, and product data within company systems. Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding orders, shipments, delays, and backorders. Follow up on shipping discrepancies, missing documentation, and order-related inquiries. Notify customers of delayed orders and provide timely updates. Welcome visitors, assist with check-in procedures, and support front desk operations. Perform data entry, filing, and general administrative support tasks. Collaborate with sales, operations, management, and other departments to ensure excellent customer service. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of professional customer service experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment. Previous order entry experience utilizing an ERP system. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and customer focused. Preferred Experience using Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar ERP platforms. Associate's or Bachelor's degree. Bilingual Spanish skills. Work Environment Professional corporate office setting. Front desk position requiring frequent interaction with customers and visitors. Monday through Friday schedule. Hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch. Fully onsite role. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
