Job Description

SUMMARY The Order Fulfillment and Inventory Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting our customer's sales staff by overseeing inventory levels, processing orders, and ensuring accurate and timely shipping directly from the customer's site. This position is responsible for maintaining efficient inventory management, coordinating shipments, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced in inventory and order fulfillment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    Order Processing:
    Receive and fulfill orders accurately as placed by the customer's sales team, following all packaging and shipping guidelines to ensure timely delivery.
      Inventory Management:
      Maintain optimal inventory levels, reorder stock as necessary, and conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
        Shipping Coordination:
        Prepare, label, and coordinate outgoing shipments with carriers like UPS, FedEx, and USPS, and handle all related documentation.
          Customer Liaison:
          Serve as the primary onsite contact for the customer, addressing inquiries, resolving issues like damages or shortages, and providing regular updates on inventory and order status.
            Documentation and Reporting:
            Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments and inventory levels. Provide reports as requested to support inventory accuracy.
              Problem Solving and Communication:
              Work closely with leaders to troubleshoot order or inventory issues, ensuring prompt resolution and clear communication.
                Safety and Efficiency:
                Uphold safety standards and contribute to a clean, organized workspace while continuously improving fulfillment and inventory practices.
                  Flexible Task Management:
                  Perform additional duties as assigned to support order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
                  COMPETENCIES
                  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
                  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role.
                  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externally.
                  • Proficiency in utilizing and adapting to key technology systems and software.
                  • Ability to work independently and take the initiative in task planning.
                  • High sense of urgency in fulfilling orders accurately and meeting deadlines.
                  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
                  EXPERIENCE
                  • Minimum 2 years of inventory management and order fulfillment experience
                  • High School Degree or equivalent
                  • Forklift Certification required
