Summary The Food Packer is responsible for preparing, portioning, packing and supporting daily kitchen production. This role plays a key part in maintaining the quality, consistency, and efficiency of our wholesale business. The role involves packing products appropriately, ensuring food safety, and following strict quality guidelines. Key Responsibilities Carefully pack and portion food products into designated containers or packaging materials according to company standards Inspect products for quality, freshness, and proper labeling before packing Ensure that all packaging is sealed securely and accurately labeled Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area to meet safety and sanitation standards Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines Qualifications Food Handler Certification required Previous kitchen or food production experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely Team-oriented with a positive attitude Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a kitchen environment (heat, sharp tools, etc.) Schedule & Availability Flexible schedule required, including early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed Compensation $19/hr About Us The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills, an institution in Los Angeles, opened its doors in 1967 and remains committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and quality products.
