We operate a highly active, fast-paced workshop and are currently seeking a driven, self-directed Shipping & Crating Specialist. In this role, you will be the final step in our production process, ensuring our custom creations are safely and securely prepped for freight transit. Key Responsibilities:

Custom Crate Construction:

Measure, cut, and build sturdy custom wooden crates for safe transport using saws, drills, and power tools.

Secure Packing:

Efficiently and carefully pack fragile stained glass windows, balancing a fast-paced workflow with the extreme care required to prevent transit damage.

Logistics:

Generate shipping labels, prepare documentation, and stage crates for carrier pickup.

Requirements:

Tool Proficiency:

Experience with power tools (table saws, circular saws, nail guns, drills) is highly preferred. You should be comfortable and safe operating standard woodshop equipment.

Self-Directed:

Must be a highly motivated self-starter who can manage their own time, prioritize tasks, and keep the shipping queue moving with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to consistently lift, and maneuver up to 50 lbs.

Experience:

Prior background in crating, carpentry, manufacturing, or freight packing is a strong plus.
