The Warehouse Picker I is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, and preparing products for shipment in a cold or freezer warehouse environment. This role ensures that orders are fulfilled in a timely, safe, and efficient manner while maintaining product integrity and adhering to company quality standards. Key Responsibilities Order Picking & Staging Accurately pick products according to customer orders using handheld scanners or pick sheets Stage and prepare picked orders for shipping and delivery Verify product codes, quantities, and lot numbers to ensure accuracy Cold/Freezer Environment Operations Work in environments ranging from refrigerated to freezer Follow all safety and PPE requirements Safely operate equipment including but not limited to pallet jack, forklift, and reach truck (if and only when certified) Inventory & Quality Control Assist in cycle counts, stock rotation, and maintaining accurate inventory records Report damaged, expired, or incorrect products to supervisors Maintain cleanliness and organization of picking areas Safety & Compliance Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA guidelines Use appropriate techniques and safe material handling practices Follow all food safety and handling protocols Other Duties as Assigned Required Key Skills and Qualifications To thrive in this position, candidates must bring a commitment to inclusivity, transparency, and growth.
