Job Description

The Horizon Companies, a South Longmont agricultural products distributor is looking for a part-time Shipping Specialist. Applicants must be reliable and able to take direction, but more importantly be able to see what needs to be done, multi-task, prioritize their time, willing to jump in and assist others, fluent in English, and have good people skills. Applicants should be enjoyable to work with, self-motivated, computer literate, accurate, and detail oriented. This position will primarily be packaging, shipping and receiving products via FedEx, UPS, and USPS with some LTL (freight shipping). Applicants must be able to regularly lift as much as 65 lbs. and will be required to take both forklift and shipping certification courses, which will be employer paid. We are an agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products distributor, but no knowledge of the products we offer is required. Company Hours are 8:00 AM

5:00 PM Monday
Friday. Our shipping department's hours are 8:00 AM
4:30 PM.

No weekend or evening work.

This Job:

Part-time hourly position available. 20-30 hours per week. Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma

Salary:

Starting $18 per hour based on experience

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour

Experience:

Shipping & receiving: 2 years (Preferred) Picking & packing: 1 year (Required)
