Duties Efficiently pick and pack orders using barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to ensure accuracy Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, and heavy equipment safely and effectively Load and unload shipments with proper safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Manage inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring stock levels are accurate and organized Prepare orders for shipment by packing items securely and labeling them correctly for distribution Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency in warehouse operations Skills Experience operating warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes Strong understanding of order picking, packing, inventory management, and materials handling procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safety standards Knowledge of shipping & receiving protocols, quality control measures, and warehouse distribution processes Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order calculations Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow safety protocols consistently This role is ideal for individuals with warehouse experience who thrive in active environments and are eager to develop their skills in logistics operations.
