Full-Time | Food Manufacturing Job Description Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is hiring dependable Canning Production Workers for a local manufacturing facility in Pocatello! If you enjoy hands-on work, don't mind staying active throughout your shift, and like being part of a hardworking production team, this could be the opportunity for you. In this role, you will work in an industrial food manufacturing environment assisting with canning line operations, packaging, boxing, palletizing, and preparing finished products for shipment. You will also help with production line breakdown, equipment and work area cleanup, and general end-of-run duties. This is a physically active position that requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is helpful, but candidates willing to learn and follow established procedures are encouraged to apply! Available Shifts & Pay Morning Shift

• 5:00 AM-3:30 PM
• $17.28 per hour Afternoon/Night Shift
• Tuesday-Friday
• 3:00 PM-1:30 AM
• $17.28 per hour Both shifts operate Tuesday through Friday. Please consider the early morning start or late-night finish when choosing your preferred schedule. Job Responsibilities
• Assist with daily canning and food production line operations.
• Perform line rework, including moving, handling, and boxing canned products.
• Prepare boxed products and pallets for shipping.
• Move and organize pallets, boxes, and production materials throughout the work area.
• Assist with production line breakdown and tear-down at the end of production runs.
• Clean and organize production areas and equipment according to facility procedures.
• Follow workplace safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines.
• Work with team members to maintain production flow and complete daily assignments.
• Perform additional general labor and production duties as needed. Physical Requirements
• This is a physically demanding, hands-on manufacturing position.

Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and remain active for up to 8 hours of a shift.
• Walk, bend, reach, twist, and move repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more, with team lifts required for heavier items beyond individual lifting limits.
• Move boxes, materials, and products and assist with palletizing and shipping preparation.
• Work in both warm and cold production environments.
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining safe work practices and attention to detail. Qualifications
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced industrial production environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in food production, canning, packaging, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or general labor is a plus but not required.
