Location:
Northborough, Massachusetts CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Shipper/Reciever candidates in the Northborough, MA area. The Shipper/Receiver role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing labels, processing domestic and international shipments, operating a forklift, and supporting packaging activities within a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming goods and materials, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Produce and apply labels for package room and shipping operations. Read, interpret, and follow highly detailed shipping instructions and customer requirements. Operate a forklift safely to move materials, inventory, and finished products throughout the facility. Assist with packaging activities on the production floor as needed. Prepare and ship domestic and international products in accordance with customer specifications and shipping regulations. Actively support and comply with Quality, Safety, and Environmental programs and initiatives. Perform miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned by management.Desired Background/Skills:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of two years of shipping experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Forklift operating experience required. Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal. Ability to read, interpret, and follow detailed shipping instructions accurately.Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and consistently throughout the workday. Ability to perform light to moderate physical work as required by job duties. Ability to regularly sit, stand, reach, and move throughout the facility during the course of the shift.Other Information:
