BelMetric Inc is looking to hire team members for the pick, pack and ship department. Fast turnaround times are essential for our customers so there is a great deal of urgency in everything we do.

Responsibilities would include:

Picking orders. We sell small sized fasteners that need to be picked, counted, bagged and labeled. We often count small quantities by hand but have digital counting scales for larger counts. Packaging orders. All packages need to be extremely well secured to avoid breakage. We properly train all associates in this department.

Shipping:

We use shipping software that is very user friendly and intuitive. Proper training would be provided.

Qualifications:

Attention to detail. We have about thousands of SKU's with an alphanumeric part number system that would need to be learned over the course of a few weeks, with proper training. A willingness to learn is essential. Ability to lift heavy packages. Not often, but sometimes our associates would be required to move cases of fasteners. These boxes can weigh up to 50lb but average about 35lb. Ability to handle constant and steady workload throughout the day. Downtime is not something we see very much but. Organizational/cleanliness skills. We keep a clean and neat warehouse that we'd like to maintain.
