About the Role As a Packaging Specialist, you will serve as a vital link in our production cycle by ensuring that every item meets rigorous quality standards before it reaches the customer. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your keen eye for detail to inspect goods and maintain high-efficiency output across our production lines. Responsibilities Perform thorough visual inspections to identify and remove any defective items, ensuring only top-tier products are packaged. Assemble and label shipping containers accurately, verifying that product types remain organized and correctly identified. Collaborate with line technicians to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets consistently. Maintain a pristine and hazard-free workspace, adhering strictly to all established safety protocols and operational guidelines. Support material recovery efforts by processing scrap for regrind, contributing to our sustainability goals. Provide mentorship and guidance to new team members to ensure consistent adherence to standard operating procedures. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Demonstrated ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended shifts. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and packaging specifications. Proven capacity to work independently while maintaining effective communication within a team. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a high-volume manufacturing or warehouse environment. Familiarity with ISO-compliant quality control processes. Experience operating industrial machinery or material handling equipment.
