Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Packaging Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assist in support of the packaging process using Ford packaging specifications. Training includes packaging specification knowledge, hands-on skills with equipment, and warehouse processes to allow efficient packaging operations that meet Ford standards. Duties Support UAW personnel with questions relating to packaging processes. Understand FCSD packaging materials and how to use those materials. Learn packaging equipment functions, operations, and basic repair. Assist with part inspection to confirm proper part received, as well as identifying damage to part. Learn various packaging systems. Requirements Job if afternoon shift, starting at 3:30pm and ending at 11:30pm. Job requires overtime when UAW team is working overtime, often one extra hour added at end of shift, and some Saturday and Sunday shifts required.
