1st Shift Industrial Tobacco Packer Debbie's Staffing is looking for a 1st Shift Industrial Tobacco Packer for our client located in King, NC.

Hours:

6:30am-5:00pm Monday through Thursday. Must be able to work overtime as requested on Fridays.

Job Summary:

Responsible for making cardboard boxes weighing up to 50lbs, packing tobacco into boxes, sweeping and cleaning around machines. Forklift/ clamp truck experience recommended but not required. Make Boxes and lids as needed. Ensures empty containers are clean prior to placement at finished product Packout. Works with Packout Operator in filling containers. Ensure that equipment is kept clean and free of dust build-up, including conveyor pans and covers. Assist with blend changes to ensure clean cans and boxes are in place. Clean floors to reduce contamination risk and minimize product loss. Operates lifts to clean areas that are not accessible from floor or catwalks. Clean process equipment as needed or required. Ensures that non-tobacco related material contamination of finished product is eliminated by good housekeeping, close observation of product Comply with all ISO Procedures implemented Any other duties as directed

Position Requirements:

• Forklift experience recommended Warehouse/Manufacturing experience required Must be able to stand/walk the entire shift Must be able to work in a tobacco facility Must be able to work in a dusty and non-climate-controlled facility Excellent attendance Heavy lifting up to 50 LBS. Must be able to stand/walk up to 10+ hours a day EOE
