Job Description

Position Overview FTBC is hiring reliable, detail-oriented team members for our Cleanroom Production Operator I positions. This role supports daily manufacturing activities, including product inspection, equipment operation, packaging, material handling, and production documentation. Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a structured manufacturing environment, following established procedures, and maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity. Available Shifts (2-2-3 Schedule)
Day Shift:
7:00 AM•7:00
PM Night Shift:
7:00 PM•7:00
AM Night Shift Premium:
An additional $2.25 per hour for hours worked on the 7:00 PM•7:00 AM shift Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Inspection & Quality Inspect battery component parts for cosmetic and dimensional defects. Use microscopes and inspection equipment to evaluate product features. Confirm products meet established quality requirements. Monitor automated inspection systems and report abnormalities. Production Operations Operate production and packaging equipment according to work instructions. Perform routine equipment checks and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel. Assist with basic troubleshooting and downtime reduction. Follow cleanroom procedures and contamination-control requirements. Material Handling & Packaging Package finished products according to customer and internal specifications. Verify labels, quantities, and product identification. Prepare materials for shipment and support logistics activities. Safely move materials using approved handling equipment. Documentation & Communication Complete production records, quality logs, and inspection documentation. Record defects, process deviations, and production results. Communicate quality and equipment concerns to supervisors and support teams. Follow company procedures and applicable quality-system requirements. Safety & Workplace Standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Participate in 5S and other workplace organization activities. Support initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. Follow all company safety procedures and report unsafe conditions promptly. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Manufacturing, assembly, production, or cleanroom experience preferred. Ability to read and follow work instructions and process documentation. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability. Experience with measurement or inspection equipment is a plus. Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, and repetitive hand movements. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds when required. Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and production noise. Ability to wear required PPE and cleanroom garments. Why Join FTBC?
