ReSource Waste Services of Epping Inc. is looking for reliable, hardworking Picker/Sorters to join our Construction & Demolition (C&D) recycling facility. As a Picker/Sorter, you'll work as part of a team on a processing line, manually sorting materials from a moving conveyor belt and helping recover valuable materials from the waste stream. No recycling experience required. Training provided!

What You'll Do:

Hand-sort materials from a moving conveyor belt. Identify and remove recyclable and recoverable materials. Sort materials including wood, metal, cardboard, plastics, concrete, masonry, drywall and other designated materials. Place materials into appropriate bins, hoppers or bunkers. Identify hazardous or prohibited materials and notify a supervisor. Keep work areas clean and free of debris and hazards. Follow all safety procedures and wear required

PPE. PPE

includes high-visibility clothing, safety glasses, gloves, hard hat and appropriate safety-toe footwear. Additional respiratory protection may be required depending on the work area and facility conditions. Work with Pickers, equipment operators and supervisors to maintain a safe, productive operation. Assist with basic facility maintenance and other duties as needed. Qualified employees may have opportunities to operate forklifts, skid steers and other equipment.

What We're Looking For:

Dependable, punctual and hardworking. Safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team. Comfortable standing and working on a moving production line for extended periods. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Able to repeatedly bend, reach, twist, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. or more as needed. Comfortable working around dust, noise, debris and moving equipment. Previous recycling, construction, manufacturing, warehouse or labor experience is helpful, but not required .
