Order Picker / Packer - Job Overview The Order Picker/Packer performs a variety of material handling duties, including moving, picking, unpacking, and packing materials. This role requires the use of powered material handling equipment and wireless scanners to track inventory. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is an entry-level role, with prior warehouse experience preferred. Key Responsibilities Pick, pack, and move materials to and from inventory locations Unpack incoming shipments and prepare items for storage or shipment Replenish pick locations from overstock inventory Perform inventory cycle counts Process transactions using RF scanners and computer systems Operate powered material handling equipment as needed Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment Follow ISO9001:2008 standards and company procedures Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous warehouse experience required Experience using RF scanners preferred Basic math skills and ability to read/write English Microsoft Office proficiency; SAP experience a plus Exposure to lean principles is a plus Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, team-oriented, and positive attitude Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Stand/walk for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Frequent bending, twisting, and use of hands and close vision Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company profit sharing Generous Paid Time Off Flex Spending Account (FSA) Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
