Job Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and dependable individuals to join a growing Food Production and Packaging Team. This position is within a meat production facility and requires employees to work directly with raw meat and meat products as part of the daily production process. Applications should be comfortable working in a refrigerated raw food materials and working in a refrigerated production environment. This is an opportunity to get your foot in the door, learn the operation, gain valuable production packing experience, and and become part of a strong reliable team. Employees who demonstrate consistency, dependability, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn may have the opportunity to remain with the company long-term.

Job Duties:

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production areas, adhering to sanitation protocols to prevent contamination. Package, box, and prepare finished pre-wrapped products for distribution Inspect packaging while working to ensure products are properly packed and ready for the next stage of production Wear required protective protective equipment, including gloves and any other PPE provided for the assigned production area Follow instructions from production supervisors and move between production or packaging tasks as operational needs require Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing production efficiency and product quality. Adherence to food safety and quality standards. Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products Support team members by managing production workflows, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and fostering effective communication within the team. Participate in safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any deviations from quality standards promptly.

Qualifications:

Must be dependable, punctual, and able to report to work consistent work pace in a fast-moving production Employees

MUST BE CLEAN SHAVEN

to comply with facility food-safety policies. Jewelry and piercings must comply with facility food-safety policies Must be able to stand for the duration of the workday and perform hands-on production work Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated environment Must be willing to work mandatory overtime Experience picking and packing Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to food production environments. Prior experience with food safety or quality assurance processes is highly desirable. Join our team!
