Job Description
Temporary Position to help unpack older adults on their Move Day!
What we do:
We help older adults downsize and move to beautiful senior communities. We'll be helping a Harleysville community open 45 brand-new apartments in October-November 2026. This means we're working with dozens of their new residents to sort, pack, and unpack in their new homes! Because of the volume, we're looking to hire 2 more team members on a temporary/short-term basis. There may be opportunities for this position to be extended OR become permanent beyond that time period. Work locations are in Harleysville and the surrounding area.
The job:
Associates report directly to the Move Manager and assist with unpacking and organizing our clients' homes on Move Day. This primarily includes opening packed boxes and bins, unwrapping contents, putting items neatly away in cabinets / closets / furniture pieces, and breaking down boxes and packing materials for a tidy and safe work area. Associates may also be asked to assist with packing on a few pack days. We are NOT the movers and do not lift over 25 lbs! Many of our clients are over 65 and are facing the emotional process of downsizing - so empathy is essential.
Where would you be working:
Work locations are in Harleysville and the surrounding areas. You will need reliable transportation and a willingness to drive to/from work locations. Commutes over 30 minutes or over 15 miles are compensated with travel reimbursement. Work will either take place in client homes or in senior communities with strict no smoking rules.

• Pay and schedule: Pay starts at $18/hr and all training will be provided as paid time. Ideally we're looking for someone able to commit to about 30 hrs/week between October 19-Nov 12 (hours/week can be slightly flexible)
