Operates a lift truck by driving backwards and twisting to be able to look in the direction of travel on a continual basis.
Performs routine inspection and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refer defects or repairs to supervisor/maintenance.
Moves controls to drive battery-powered trucks and transports materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams and swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
Positions lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secures material or products for transport to designated areas.
Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices.
Removes product from boxes and/or containers.
Inspects and evaluates condition of all product brought to recoup area.
Inspects and evaluates condition of cartons in warehouse and repairs where applicable
Classify product as to damage, as is, or scrape based on level of damage.
Repackages appliances in boxes or cartons.
Completes inventory and restocks cartons where needed.
Uses scanning devise and computer as needed to perform tasks.
Completes reports and documentation as needed.
Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
Experience:
One to two years related experience
Computer Skills:
Basic scanner technology.
Certificates & Licenses:
