Position Summary:

Responsible for the safe and efficient handling and packaging of products to be shipped to suppliers and customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned:

Proper handling, packaging and preservation of product Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment Identify and report safety concerns to the Packing Team Leader Identify and report maintenance needs to the Packing Team Leader Work with Quality personnel to monitor quality of product and respond accordingly Interpretation of work orders and packaging instructions Complete and submit daily production reports Maintain a good attendance record

Qualifications:

This is an entry level position and does not require any specific qualifications other than presenting a strong work ethic and good attendance. Education and/or

Experience:

High School diploma preferred

Language/Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate and work with team members in a bilingual environment (with the use of an interpreter as needed). Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills needed for printing labels.

Compensation:
