Taylor Healthcare Products, Inc. is a market leading manufacturer and distributor of products for Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Fire Departments, Dental, Funeral/Mortuary, Surgery Centers and Hospital markets. We are looking for a responsible, energetic, hard-working individual to join our Medical Kitting Department. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, assembling medical components into kits and packaging the kits into the proper cartons. The Kitting Department is also responsible for pulling Ground shipments, placing shipping labels on the cartons and logging or scanning product into or out of the inventory system software. Kit Team members use heat sealers, vacuum packaging machines and operate embroidery machines. The ideal candidate should have good oral and written communication skills as well as an upbeat happy disposition. Ultimately, a successful Kitting Department team member should be a self-starter, ensure accurate, efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of their responsibilities and be a team player. Be punctual for each workday:
Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Correctly pull components, assembling and packaging kits into the proper carton. Using heat sealer, vacuum packaging and embroidery machines (after training). Pulling, correctly labeling and processing daily UPS and FedEx ground shipments. Logging (written) or scanning ground shipments into the inventory software program. Working with the Sales and Customer Care Departments to pull and package customer sample requests. Keeping track of packaging materials and alerting supervisor when items need to be ordered. Daily cleaning of the Kit Department, product sample work area and equipment. Complete other duties as required. Receiving of and checking for accuracy of Kitting Department incoming orders. Must be able to work on your feet for the full workday. Good attendance is critical for successful and prolonged employment. Skills Good interpersonal skills Be a team player Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task High School degree or equivalent Computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office software The ability to lift, move and carry up to 30 lbs. boxes Follow instructions provided by supervisors
