Job Description:

Cut and assemble lumber pieces to build trusses used in building construction. Stack and bind finished trusses in preparation for delivery to the job site.

Position Requirements:

Work in a fast-paced production environment Ability to use a variety of tools (e.g. staple gun, hammer, tape measure, etc.) Able to follow and complete verbal/written instructions Able to lift approximately 50-100 lbs throughout shift Willing to follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (i.e. safety glasses, gloves) Maintain a clean and safe work environment Be punctual and reliable; willing to work overtime hours as needed Attention to detail, adaptable, and team-oriented

Experience Requirements:

Prior truss or carpentry experience preferred, but willing to train those with no experience Forklift certification is also a plus

Work Schedule:

6:00 am - 2:30 pm•Includes a 30-minute paid morning break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Hourly Wage:

Depends on experience

Notes:

We participate in the E-verify program. All hired employees will be required to have their government issued documents verified to continue work. Precision Structures may require employees to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
