Manufacturing Packaging Associate Are you reliable, ready to work, and looking for an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing Menomonie manufacturer? We are hiring five Manufacturing Packaging Associates to help with increased production demand.

Temporary, approximately 1-2 months with potential for long-term opportunities

Type:

Full-Time Shift:

1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM; overtime may be available based on business needs

Pay:

$17.00/hour

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

Previous manufacturing or packaging experience preferred, but not required You will work as part of a team packaging animal health and nutritional products, including soft chews, gels and dry mixes. These are immediate temporary openings with the potential for longer-term opportunities for dependable employees who perform well.

Responsibilities:

Hand package finished products into pouches, jars and other containers Add product into hoppers during the packaging process Package and label finished products Stack finished products into boxes and onto pallets Perform basic quality checks Assist with production and packaging equipment as needed Help clean and organize the work area at the end of production Follow all safety, sanitation and production procedures

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required Ability to stand for the entire 8-hour shift Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday Ability to frequently lift 20-30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Basic math skills Ability to read and write in English Strong attendance and punctuality Dependable, team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed Must be able to perform all required job duties without restrictions Willing to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including no jewelry, piercings, fake nails, fake eyelashes, etc.

Reliable attendance is especially important. Candidates must be available to work their entire first week without any planned days off.
