Join Giant Eagle as a Warehouse Selector in our Warehouse & Manufacturing team, supporting our Food & Beverage Operations. You'll accurately select, organize, and prepare grocery products for store delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, you'll operate material-handling equipment, follow inventory and sanitation standards, and help maintain a clean, organized warehouse. Responsibilities Accurately select grocery, refrigerated, and frozen products from pick lists to fulfill store orders Build stable, well-organized pallets and secure loads for safe transport Operate powered industrial equipment such as electric pallet jacks and, where authorized, forklifts or reach trucks Use RF scanners, labels, and warehouse management systems to track product movement and confirm selections Meet or exceed established productivity, accuracy, and quality standards while maintaining a strong customer-first mindset Follow all food safety, product handling, and rotation guidelines to protect product quality and integrity Work safely at all times by following OSHA, company, and warehouse safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and use of PPEStage, wrap, and prepare completed orders for loading and on-time delivery to Giant Eagle stores Assist with basic inventory control tasks, such as counting, replenishing, and reporting low or damaged stock Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to support smooth warehouse and manufacturing operations Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in aisles, docks, and storage locations Demonstrate reliability by adhering to assigned schedules and supporting overtime or varying shifts as business needs require Required Skills Order selection and pallet building Electric pallet jack operation Forklift or reach truck operation RF scanner use and basic WMS navigation Reading pick sheets and labels Basic math and counting skills Inventory handling and rotation Understanding of food safety and product integrity Time management in high-volume environment Adherence to safety procedures and PPE use Communication with warehouse and store teams Basic computer or handheld device skills
