Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a procurement professional who understands the importance of securing the right materials, at the right cost, and on the right timeline. The Purchasing Manager will work closely with vendors, project management, estimating, production, and accounting to support efficient fabrication schedules and strong cost control. Key Responsibilities Purchase structural steel, bolts, decking, anchors, miscellaneous metals, and related materials for fabrication projects. Obtain competitive vendor quotes, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and manage supplier performance. Review shop drawings, verify material grades, and issue, track, and update purchase orders. Coordinate material deliveries with production and fabrication schedules to help prevent shortages or delays. Monitor purchasing costs, support inventory control, and maintain material certifications, vendor records, and procurement documentation. Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding lead times, substitutions, shortages, delivery updates, and project needs.

Compensation and Benefits Salary:

$80,000 to $90,000 per year. Direct hire opportunity.
