$85K–$95K Must be based in or within commuting distance of the Greater Orlando area. They are seeking an experienced Procurement Operations Manager to lead purchasing operations, strengthen vendor partnerships, and develop sourcing strategies that produce measurable cost savings across the organization. Why This Procurement Operations Manager Opportunity Stands Out Leadership opportunity overseeing and developing a purchasing team High-impact role with the ability to improve companywide procurement processes Direct involvement in vendor negotiations, pricing agreements, and sourcing strategy Collaborative partnership with senior leadership and field operations Opportunity to centralize purchasing and maximize volume discounts and rebates Established organization with continued growth across multiple locations Procurement Operations Manager Responsibilities Lead, manage, and develop a team of Purchasing Coordinators Oversee daily purchasing operations and ensure departmental needs are met Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives that reduce material and service costs Manage vendor pricing, contract negotiations, rebates, and volume-based incentives Consolidate purchasing across multiple regions and business units Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal operational teams Benchmark supplier pricing across regions, markets, and product categories Identify alternative products, suppliers, and sourcing methods to generate cost savings Evaluate supplier performance based on cost, quality, availability, and service Approve new material and service vendors Source new vendors and explore alternative procurement channels Implement purchasing controls, standardized workflows, and supplier performance metrics Improve purchasing visibility and eliminate operational bottlenecks Communicate shipment statuses and estimated delivery dates to internal teams Generate and issue purchase orders through the company's ERP system and track materials through delivery Support senior leadership with reporting, analysis, and special projects Qualifications for the Procurement Operations Manager Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered Minimum of seven years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management experience At least three years of experience managing procurement across multiple business units, operating companies, or geographically dispersed locations Demonstrated success negotiating regional or national contracts that resulted in measurable cost savings Experience leading centralized purchasing functions while supporting decentralized operations Strong background implementing purchasing controls, supplier metrics, and standardized procurement processes Experience with an ERP system such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Proven vendor negotiation, leadership, communication, and organizational skills The Ideal Procurement Operations Manager The ideal Procurement Operations Manager is a strong negotiator who operates independently, takes initiative, and consistently identifies opportunities to reduce costs and improve purchasing efficiency.
