full-time Company Description United Theranostics is a specialized clinical practice focused on internal radiation therapy for oncologic diseases in an outpatient setting. The organization delivers current and emerging theranostic and targeted radiopharmaceutical therapies for conditions such as thyroid cancer, metastatic prostate cancer, and metastatic neuroendocrine cancer. Patients receive care in a safe, comfortable environment designed for complex, high-touch treatments. United Theranostics works in close collaboration with referring oncologists, endocrinologists, urologists, and other providers to coordinate comprehensive, patient-centered care. Team members join a multidisciplinary environment at the forefront of precision medicine and advanced cancer therapies. Role Description The Clinical Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bethesda, MD. This role is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory for radiopharmaceuticals, clinical supplies, and ancillary materials required for internal radiation therapy services. The specialist will evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, monitor supply chain performance, and ensure timely availability of products in compliance with clinical, regulatory, and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with clinical and research teams to forecast needs, tracking usage and costs, maintaining accurate procurement records, and supporting budget planning. The role also involves developing strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing processes, and collaborating with leadership to support the expansion and reliability of theranostic services. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams, vendors, and administrative stakeholders. Foundational understanding of Medicine and clinical environments, with familiarity in oncology, nuclear medicine, or radiopharmaceuticals preferred. Experience in Training or onboarding staff on procurement processes, inventory systems, and compliance procedures. Research and Clinical Research skills to support evidence-based sourcing decisions, evaluate new products, and understand protocol-driven requirements. Background in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing in healthcare or life sciences; experience with vendor management and contract negotiation. Ability to manage inventory systems, analyze cost and utilization data, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to regulatory and safety compliance. Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Healthcare Administration, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a clinical discipline; equivalent experience considered. Proficiency with electronic purchasing systems, spreadsheets, and standard office software.
