Job Description:
We are honored to represent this highly respected organization to identify an experienced procurement leader to provide strategic direction and oversight of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, contract administration, supplier management, and compliance. This role will lead organization-wide procurement strategies, negotiate major contracts, oversee supplier performance, strengthen procurement policies and controls, and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency. The Director will also oversee construction and capital project procurement, supplier diversity initiatives, procurement technology, and related analytics. The position serves as a key advisor to executive leadership and the Board on major procurements, contract risk, procurement policy, and industry best practices. The Director will supervise procurement staff and collaborate with legal counsel, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders across the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field. 10+ years of progressively responsible procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or contract management experience. 5+ years of leadership experience managing professional staff. Strong background in strategic sourcing, competitive procurement, contract negotiation, supplier management, and compliance. Experience working within a complex, multi-department organization. Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills. Master's degree and certifications such as CPSM, CPPO, CPPB, or CSCP are preferred. Experience with ERP/procurement systems, construction procurement, capital projects, and supplier diversity programs is a plus.
