Job Description
Imperial Filtration | Mercer, PA | Full-Time Imperial Filtration (IFI) is looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement and vendor management for our growing filtration manufacturing operation. If you're a sharp negotiator who thrives on keeping material costs down and production supplied, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own procurement of raw materials, filter media, hardware, and supplies for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Negotiate pricing and terms directly with vendors — and know how to hold the line.
- Keep inventory levels tight but production but never short.
- Vet new suppliers and source alternate materials to reduce risk and cost.
- Partner daily with Production, Planning, and Accounting to keep things running smoothly.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience, manufacturing background preferred.
- Confident negotiator with strong vendor relationship skills.
- Comfortable in Excel and ERP/purchasing systems.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred — but real-world experience counts.
