POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Global Supply Chain Manager to lead and transform our purchasing and procurement organization. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing Purchasing Associates and Buyers while driving supplier development, cost reduction, sourcing strategy, inventory optimization, and supply chain performance across Hazelett's global operations.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Lead and develop Purchasing Associates and Buyers while aligning team goals, KPIs, and performance with corporate objectives. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, and Finance. Develop and execute global sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, qualification, onboarding, and contract negotiations. Expand and strengthen the supplier base for critical materials through supplier development, scorecards, and performance reviews. Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, negotiations, value engineering, spend analysis, and market intelligence. Establish measurable savings programs, annual cost-reduction targets, and competitive bidding strategies. Manage supplier performance and supply chain risk by monitoring quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness, and business continuity plans. Improve procurement processes, systems, reporting, and ERP utilization while developing metrics for procurement effectiveness, cost performance, and inventory reduction.
