Director of Operations & Community Impact Education/Experience:

Minimum education to have obtained or be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in social work or criminal justice program. One to three years of related job experience is preferred Experience working or volunteering in a nonprofit environment Experience working with at-risk youth, community development partners and law enforcement Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Commitment to understanding and supporting STAR/PAL's mission. Shows compassion and appreciation for underserved and/or at-risk youth issues. General knowledge of nonprofit organizational practices Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Must be highly organized and self-motivated Strong ability to work well within a team environment, with law enforcement and community members Bi-lingual or multi-lingual preferred
