Engage today's girls in immersive after-school experiences where they will learn, grow, and lead! As a part-time After School Program Facilitator you'll dive into leading Girl Scouts programming, working directly with girls in grades K-6 at select school sites throughout Calexico Unified School District. Your Impact Be a positive role model to girls by helping them find what's within through empowering programs. Lead groups of up to 20 students in fun, engaging activities that develop life skills, align with STEAM curriculum, and foster a supportive environment. Bring the Girl Scout experience to schools , creating access for more girls to make lasting memories.
Employment Details Seasonal:
August through
June Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
part-time, roughly 2 days per week
Experience and Skills:
Required Experience Bachelor's degree in child development, completion of some child development coursework, or fulfillment of state instructional aid requirements and completion of the instructional aide exam. Experience working with youth in a school, recreational, or educational setting. Skill in planning, preparing, and facilitating engaging and inclusive group activities; ability to appropriately adapt programming to different age groups. Demonstrated professionalism, patience, and flexibility; effective communication with teammates, supervisors, youth participants, and parents/guardians. Bilingual Spanish skills preferred. Valid First Aid & CPR certification. Access to reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and proof of insurance - driving to assigned school sites is required.
