Program Coordinator, Experienced Blue Shield of CA United States, California, Redding Sep 26, 2026 Your Role The Medical Care Programs team is responsible for managing programs and partnerships that support members with their health care, drive savings, and improve quality. The Program Coordinator, Experienced will report to the Senior Manager. In this role you will support the program management team in operations and oversight of various programs, planning and implementation of AI solutions, analysis, coordination, stakeholder engagement, documentation and more. Your Knowledge and Experience Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
3 years of prior relevant experience
Prefers familiarity with health care data and the health care delivery system in California; health plan or provider experience strongly desired
Prefers experience related to member- or provider-facing programs, such as Utilization Management or Care/Case Management
Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders to drive requirements and coordination
Strong organizational and/or project management skills, consistent ability to "self-start," take ownership and seek assistance when necessary Hybrid This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week. Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
