Looking for meaningful, flexible work with children outside of a traditional daily schedule? The Unbeatables Academy is expanding our team of Youth Program Facilitators to deliver engaging, hands-on youth development experiences in schools, parks, camps, after-school programs, and community settings throughout South Florida. Through The Unbeatables Life Lab and other programs, we help children develop practical life skills through experiences they can participate in, practice, and remember — not simply through lectures or worksheets. Our programs address real-life areas such as emotional regulation, social skills and friendship, technology balance, financial basics, modern manners and etiquette, decision-making, creativity, teamwork, and other essential life skills. What You'll Do As a Youth Program Facilitator, you will: Lead structured, hands-on experiences with groups of children Create energy, participation, and connection within the group Facilitate games, challenges, discussions, movement, role-play, and experiential activities Help children connect activities to real-life situations Confidently manage group dynamics and maintain children's engagement Adapt your delivery to different ages, group sizes, and settings Follow The Unbeatables Academy's program structure, methodology, and training Prepare and organize program materials as needed Represent The Unbeatables Academy professionally at schools, municipalities, parks, and partner organizations Who We're Looking For We are not looking for someone to simply supervise children. We are looking for someone who can engage a room. Great candidates may come from backgrounds such as: Teachers or substitute teachers PE teachers, coaches, or recreation professionals Camp or after-school program leaders Dance, theater, music, or creative-arts instructors Youth mentors or program facilitators Education, psychology, counseling, social work, or related fields Other professionals with substantial experience leading groups of children You do not need to be an expert in every Life Lab topic. The Unbeatables Academy provides the program structure, activities, materials, and training. What matters most is your ability to connect with children, confidently lead a group, communicate effectively, follow a structured program, and bring an experience to life.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in education, recreation, camps, youth programs, coaching, performing arts, or another child-focused setting. Strong facilitation, communication, and group-management skills Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups Energetic, engaging, dependable, and professional Comfortable leading both indoor and outdoor activities Reliable transportation and ability to travel to program locations in South Florida Ability to successfully complete required background screening and documentation Schedule This is a flexible, project-based position rather than a traditional fixed weekly schedule. Facilitators are offered opportunities based on scheduled programs and their availability. Programs may take place during school hours, after school, on weekends, or during school breaks. This can be an excellent opportunity for professionals who already teach, coach, study, freelance, or work another flexible schedule and want additional paid opportunities doing meaningful work with children. Compensation $25-$27 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and level of responsibility. Strong facilitators may also be considered for additional opportunities with The Unbeatables Life Lab, Camp Unbeatables, seasonal programs, and future youth-development projects.
