Job Description

Job description We are a dedicated organization committed to making a difference in the lives of children. Our after-school program offers a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and thrive. We are looking for passionate, caring mentors who want to have a positive impact on the lives of children in our Lake Wales locations.
Position Overview:
As an Enrichment mentor , you will play a vital role in shaping the educational and emotional development of children by providing mentorship, support, and encouragement. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who love working with kids and want to make a lasting difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to children during after-school hours. Assist with homework and help foster a positive learning environment. Lead and participate in enrichment activities, including arts, crafts, sports, and team-building exercises. Encourage positive behavior and help manage group dynamics in a supportive and engaging manner. Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. Work collaboratively with other mentors and staff to ensure the success of the program. Monitor and track the progress of students, reporting any concerns or achievements to the Unit director.
Qualifications:
Passion for working with children and making a positive impact in their lives. Ability to connect with kids of various ages and backgrounds. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be drug-free and able to pass a background check. Previous experience working with children in an educational or mentorship capacity is preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
