Role Description The Program Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Panama City Beach, FL, responsible for delivering and coordinating Girls Inc. of Bay County's research-based programs. This role includes facilitating daily activities, workshops, and group sessions for youth ages 6-18, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment. The Program Specialist collaborates with team members to plan program schedules, track attendance, and monitor participant progress toward educational and personal development goals. Responsibilities also include communicating with caregivers, supporting special events, maintaining program materials, and collecting data for reporting and evaluation. The role requires consistent on-site presence, flexibility in scheduling, and commitment to the mission of empowering youth. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Program Management skills, including planning, coordination, and implementation of youth-focused programs. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to track outcomes, interpret data, and support continuous program improvement. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for engaging youth, collaborating with colleagues, and interacting with caregivers and community partners. Candidates should possess Training skills to facilitate educational and skill-building sessions in a supportive, inclusive manner. Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond professionally and empathetically to participant and caregiver needs. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience working with youth or in education, nonprofit, or social services settings; familiarity with trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches; and bilingual abilities. Associate's or bachelor's degree in education, social work, child development, or a related field is preferred, along with the ability to pass background checks and meet all safeguarding requirements.
