Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG) is a nationally and internationally recognized nonprofit organization that provides programs and support services for people with hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease, and other bleeding disorders. HoG is the only agency of its kind in the state and is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of the bleeding disorder community by providing excellence in comprehensive health care, education, advocacy, and the support of research to transform lives. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work productively, effectively, and efficiently with customers, clients, co-workers, and management. Hemophilia of Georgia operates an annual summer camp program for children and teens with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. Camp is typically held in the summer (which may include the Fourth of July) and runs Saturday-Friday, and the date changes each year. Camp is an agency-wide, strategic priority; therefore, all exempt employees must participate. Assignments may include duties at camp, helping campers get to and from camp, and may involve overnight travel. The Director of Camp & Client Events will provide advance notice to exempt employees of where support is needed. PTO requests during the week of camp are generally not approved; however, PTO requests for extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Chief Community Engagement Officer. Position Summary The Grants Management Coordinator provides administrative, programmatic, and operational support for HoG's domestic and international grants, cooperative agreements, or other grant-funded activities. This role serves as a key liaison with external partners and stakeholders, helping ensure effective communication, collaboration, and the successful implementation of grants, cooperative agreements, or other programs that advance the organization's mission. The Coordinator manages the full grant lifecycle, including coordinating Requests for Proposals (RFPs), administering the grant submission platform, tracking budgets and deliverables, maintaining grant records, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and supporting reporting, data collection, and program documentation. Domestic and international travel is required to support program implementation, monitor grant activities, and support organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of experience in nonprofit operations, grant writing, administrative coordination, or compliance support. Exceptional English writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and persuasive proposals and reports. Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, including budgeting and financial tracking. Experience using grant management, CRM, and reporting systems. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong cross-cultural communication, relationship-building, and diplomatic skills.
Essential Functions:
Manage the full grant lifecycle, including award administration, compliance monitoring, partner deliverables, budget oversight, and reporting requirements of HoG non-federal grants and cooperative agreements. Lead the development of high-quality grant proposals, project narratives, logical frameworks, budgets, and other funding applications in collaboration with executive leadership. Monitor project implementation and expenditures to ensure alignment with funding requirements, federal regulations, organizational policies, and approved project plans. Prepare, compile, and review narrative, financial, statistical, and operational reports for internal leadership. Maintain accurate grant records, tracking systems, databases, award documentation, reporting schedules, and communication logs. Serving as liaison between the organization and external customers, recipients, and awardee community to clarify, interpret, and resolve issues Evaluate the effectiveness of grants management systems and processes; conduct analyses and recommend improvements to strengthen compliance, efficiency, and program performance. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop, implement, interpret, and continuously improve grant management policies, procedures, and operational practices. Serve as the primary point of contact for HoG's international grants and cooperative agreements through project execution and building relationships with funding partners Implement the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of international grant-funded projects and cooperative agreements. Monitor project implementation, track spending, reconcile accounts, and manage budget revisions for international projects. Foster collaborations to leverage resources, expertise, and networks.
