Program - Program Coordinator (Start-up) Description Everett Public Schools is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the start-up and participant-recruitment phase of its CTI Culinary Arts adult-training program. The Program Coordinator will work closely with MassHire and other program partners to recruit qualified applicants, share program information, support initial outreach, and help build a strong participant pipeline for the upcoming cohorts. Required Qualifications Experience with program coordination, participant recruitment, community outreach, workforce development, adult education, or a related area preferred. Experience collaborating with MassHire or another workforce-development agency strongly preferred. Knowledge of the needs of adult learners and job seekers. Strong communication, organization, outreach, and relationship-building skills. Ability to communicate program information clearly and professionally to prospective participants and community partners. Ability to maintain accurate applicant and recruitment records. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with multiple partners. Availability to complete assigned start-up and recruitment activities between October 2026 and February 2027. Responsibilities Collaborate with MassHire to develop and implement a participant-recruitment plan for the CTI Culinary Arts program. Coordinate recruitment timelines, outreach activities, information sessions, and applicant follow-up. Share accurate information about program eligibility, scheduling, expectations, training opportunities, available participant supports, and application procedures. Assist with developing and distributing recruitment materials, including flyers, digital communications, and community-outreach information. Conduct outreach to prospective participants and respond to initial program inquiries. Coordinate with MassHire and other workforce or community partners to identify and refer eligible applicants. Maintain organized records of prospective participants, referrals, outreach activities, and applicant status. Assist prospective participants with navigating the initial application and referral process. Communicate recruitment progress, enrollment needs, and potential barriers to the Director of Career and Technical Education. Support the transition of selected participants into the program's registration and onboarding process. Participate in required start-up meetings and planning activities. Complete other program start-up and recruitment responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Career and Technical Education. Compensation The Program Coordinator will be compensated at a rate of $40.00 per hour for up to 40 hours, with maximum total compensation of $1,600. This is a temporary, grant-funded (Career Technical Initiative; Commonwealth Corporation) start-up position serving from October 2026 through February 2027. Hours are contingent upon program needs, continued grant funding, and successful completion of assigned responsibilities.
