Group Facilitator Master's Degree Required- Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program Pax Healing Rochdale, MA Job Details Part-time $30 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Bilingual Individual crisis management LMSW Harm reduction Licensed Clinical Social Worker Outpatient experience Master's degree Substance abuse counseling Experience working with individuals with trauma-related disorders Substance abuse Social Work Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders Group counseling Group therapy instruction Full Job Description We are seeking a licensed or license-eligible Group Facilitator with a Master's degree to lead therapeutic groups within our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment program. This role requires strong clinical judgment, group facilitation expertise, and a trauma-informed approach to care for individuals in recovery. Responsibilities Facilitate clinical and psychoeducational group sessions focused on substance use recovery, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and life skills Utilize evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-informed care Establish and maintain a safe, structured, and supportive group environment Assess group dynamics and respond appropriately to clinical or safety concerns Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with program, state, and accrediting standards Maintain ethical standards, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality Required Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Licensed or license-eligible (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent, depending on state requirements) Experience facilitating groups in a substance use disorder and/or behavioral health treatment setting Knowledge of SUD treatment models, recovery-oriented care, and harm reduction Strong clinical, interpersonal, and crisis management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in IOP, PHP, residential, or outpatient SUD treatment settings Training in evidence-based group interventions Familiarity with co-occurring disorders Bilingual or multicultural experience

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
