About The Role The Defense Mission and Health Solutions team, Benefits, Claims & Integrity Solutions Operating Unit seeks a Deputy Program Director to support our Health and Human Services (HHS) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) customer delivery and lead our CMS Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) initiatives. The successful candidate will support the Director in leading large, complex technology programs for government or mission-critical customers. This role ensures delivery excellence alignment to customer mission needs, and effective management of technical, financial, and operational performance. What you'll do:

• Partner with the Director to oversee strategy, planning, and execution of technology programs
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, cyber, IT operations, and program control
• Manage program schedules, deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, policies, and quality standards
• Oversee risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes
• Drive customer engagement and ensure satisfaction through regular communication and reporting
• Support financial oversight including budgets, forecasts, EACs, and resource planning
• Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and growth
• Prepare and deliver program briefs, status updates, and executive-level reporting
• Serve as acting Director when required, providing leadership continuity
