The Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator, in collaboration with the Trauma Program Manager (TPM) and the Trauma Medical Director (TMD), are responsible for all components related to the operational, financial and personnel aspects of the Trauma Center. This position is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of systems and programs directed towards the provisions of quality services for trauma patients from a multi-disciplinary perspective throughout the continuum of care.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

+ Graduate of a

NLN/AACN

accredited program in nursing.

+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

+ Recent clinical experience in critical care, trauma, and/or emergency nursing.

+ Participates in educational activities appropriate to professional goals.

+ Maintains current knowledge related to adult and pediatric trauma/critical care, professional practice and research.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

+ Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing or related Healthcare field.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

+ NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.

+ AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.

+ Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.

+ Trauma Nursing Core Course Certification. 186540 Minimum rate of $107,952.00 Annually HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. Budget and Grant Funding:

Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered. Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
