Provider Services Coordinator/Program Quality
Job Description
The Provider Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting and providing professional development opportunities for the childcare workforce on best practices which will help strengthen their businesses and improve the quality of care being provided. Ensure technical assistance and consultation is offered on issues related to regulations, child development, working with special services, business management, and career development. The specialist will maintain processes for tracking data to support all reporting requirements that apply to the program. Adhere to all contractual and regulatory requirements. Ideal skills Experience working with database systems and tracking systems and a variety of virtual platforms. Strong organizational and competent math skills. Communication and language skills to comprehend documents and other correspondence. Strong computer skills with basic knowledge of Excel Microsoft office and other office equipment such as copier, scanner, fax etc... Ability to interact with customers from a variety of backgrounds and with different levels of management. Ability to exercise occasional independent judgement. Capability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written and oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Education requirements Associate's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or Related Field The ideal candidate must have a driver's license, meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
