Lexington Center for Recovery, the Hudson Valley's largest provider of outpatient and residential substance use disorder services, is seeking an experienced Program Director to provide leadership and oversight for our Monticello Comprehensive Substance Abuse Disorder Treatment Expansion Program. The Program Director will provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership while ensuring the program delivers high-quality, client-centered substance use disorder services. This position is responsible for program performance, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, staff supervision, client access and engagement, and coordination of services across clinical, medical, nursing, peer, care coordination, transportation, and administrative teams. The Program Director will also work closely with the Program Evaluator to monitor program performance, client outcomes, service utilization, quality improvement initiatives, and grant, contract, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of the Monticello Program. Supervise and support clinical, nursing, peer, care coordination, and administrative/support staff. Provide clinical and administrative guidance while promoting patient-centered, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and harm-reduction practices. Ensure compliance with

requirements, OTP regulations, agency policies, contracts, and applicable regulatory standards. Oversee client flow, referrals, admissions, assessments, treatment planning, engagement, retention, transfers, and discharges. Monitor program census, admissions, discharges, referrals, service utilization, client engagement, and retention. Work collaboratively with the Program Evaluator to collect, track, analyze, and report program performance and outcome data. Support grant, contract, regulatory, and internal reporting requirements, including program statistics and outcome reporting. Identify trends in program data and implement improvements based on findings. Lead quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Coordinate with Care Coordination regarding referrals, case management, discharge planning, and community resources. Coordinate with Drivers and other support services to promote access to treatment and continuity of care. Collaborate with medical, nursing, clinical, peer, administrative, and support teams to ensure coordinated services. Develop and maintain relationships with external providers, referral sources, community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Participate in staffing, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, professional development, and staff coverage planning. Monitor treatment, documentation, productivity, and client-care standards. Support the use of evidence-based practices and services addressing substance use and co-occurring disorders. Participate in strategic initiatives, policy and procedure development, and other program priorities.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Human Services, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in substance use disorder treatment, including supervisory or leadership experience. Minimum 1 year of clinical supervisory experience. Experience with program data collection, analysis, performance monitoring, and grant reporting. Experience preparing or contributing to grant, contract, program statistics, outcome, or regulatory submissions. Experience working in multidisciplinary behavioral health or healthcare settings.

Licensure & Regulatory Requirements:

Must meet New York State OASAS Qualified Health Professional (QHP) requirements. Strong knowledge of

regulations and requirements. Knowledge of opioid treatment services and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Knowledge of patient-centered, harm-reduction, recovery-oriented, and evidence-based approaches to substance use disorder treatment. Knowledge of quality assurance, program evaluation, outcomes measurement, and continuous quality improvement.

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
