These family members believed that appropriate treatment and training in a warm, sheltered, homelike environment would enhance their physical and emotional growth. With the support, funding and licensing of New York State's Office of People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the Office of Mental Health (OMH), ADD came to life. We are currently seeking an energetic full time Day Program Specialist to work in our Port Jefferson Day Program. This position supports individuals with ID/DD. In this program you would assist with community integration, recreation and meaningful daily activities on a daily basis. This program is based out a church in Port Jefferson and the hours of the role are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. HS Degree/GED Valid NYS Drivers License.
