Job Description

The Wellness Director is accountable for successfully developing and managing all program areas assigned to him/her which include new program development, fiscal management, effective supervision of program staff, direction and implementation of all program delivery, quality, promotion and monitoring results against pre-stated performance goals.

Qualifications:

Education:

 Bachelor's Degree preferred.  Preferred majors: Exercise Physiology, Physical Education, Sports Management  In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree in the related field and 2-3 years of related work experience or High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate of competency and 4-6 years of related work experience

Experience:

 (2) two years experience in programming.  (1) one year experience in staff supervision.  Experience in developing programs for wellness and fitness is preferred
