Full-time (40 hrs./week)

Job Summary:

Provide support to residents living in a recovery housing environment and assist with housing tasks including general maintenance, transporting resident belongings, and house meetings. Assist with ORH and CARF compliance regulations concerning St. Helen's Homes and Shawnee Counseling Center as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly external health & safety and compliance checks for recovery homes
• Perform intakes for new residents (includes collecting resident paperwork such as applications, leases, subsidy agreements, etc.)
• Report resident and neighbor concerns to Housing Coordinator
• Help monitor residents for any potential warning signs concerning recurrence of use
• Attend house meetings with the Housing Coordinator to check-in with residents weekly
• Assist with day-to-day needs such as: ○ General maintenance ○ Setting up hot boxes ○ Ensuring homes are provided with proper forms and posters (i.e. Narcan, emergency contact info, etc.) ○ Packing and transporting resident belongings when requested ○ Providing homes with supplies as needed such as pest traps, cleaning supplies, smoke detectors, etc.

• Ability to model recovery principles and prosocial behavior
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills and empathy for diverse populations
• Ability to remain calm and grounded during crisis and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and abide by HIPAA privacy rules and regulations
• Must have a valid Ohio driver's license

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour
