Program Specialist
Job Description
The responsibilities of the Program Specialist is to coordinate services for individuals with mental disability. Includes coordinating doctor's appointments, Individual Service Plan meetings and Monthly, Quarterly reports of the individuals and Annual Reports. Must be a team player and at least have some level of supervisory experience. Onboarding new clients, Participating in the hiring of new staff members. Meeting with parents and the individuals. The Program Specialist must have worked with individuals with mental disabilities for at least two years. Must have experience multitasking, properly articulating, and composition. Must have a bachelor degree in psychology or related field. The ideal candidate will be office-oriented, organized, and capable of supporting our programs with strong administrative and communication skills. Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent communication skills (verbal and written in English). Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to follow directions and work independently. Detail-oriented and office-focused.
