Program Coordinator Riverview Community Action Corporation Oakmont, PA Job Details Part-time $18 - $21 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Community partnership development Teamwork Program design Older adults Newsletters (communication methods) Public relations content creation Full Job Description Riverview Community Action Corporation (RCAC) is seeking to hire a part-time Program Coordinator . RCAC is located in Oakmont, Pennsylvania and has been serving that community and Verona for over 60 years. This role will plan, coordinate, promote, and evaluate programs for older adults living in Oakmont, Verona, and surrounding communities.
Position responsibilities include:
  • Creating an annual schedule of programs relevant to members' needs and interests;
  • Identifying and obtaining resources needed to implement specific programs;
  • Promoting programs within RCAC and the broader community;
  • Maintaining accurate program evaluation records and preparing reports for funding agencies;
  • Developing opportunities for collaborative programming with education providers and other agencies;
  • Participate and support the RCAC Board's Program Planning and Promotion Committee;
  • Assist with writing and compiling the monthly newsletter and publicity for local publications;
  • Assisting with other Center initiatives as assigned. The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in education or other relevant field;
  • Ability to effectively organize, plan, promote and evaluate educational programs;
  • Expertise in working with a variety of databases;
  • Expertise in using technology and social media, and
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills for maintaining positive relationships with RCAC members and individuals within the broader communities that RCAC serves .
